Starting over

For the past few months i was desperately trying to improve my sketching skills and this is the result of my practice time. I can say i've definately improved (i'm now actually confident that i can draw a certain pose if i put some effort into it), but i can't say that i made a giant leap in terms of quality. I'm gonna be the first to admit, some of the stuff that i put on display here still looks not as good as i'd like it too (especially the cringeworthy section).
Now you might say that these don't look like sketches and you would be right, HOWEVER it looks like this on purpose.

Let me explain.
I would usually see other artists sketch with a bigger brush than the one they would use for lineart. That is understandable, because you don't want too many details in your sketch at first, you want some outlines that will give you an idea where everything's at, but sometimes, the difference of those few pixels might be quite a huge one, even if it's just 3 pixels. it still matters. Having that in mind, i decided to refine my sketches to a point where they look like lineart, however i can't call them a lineart cause they don't quite looks as good as i'd like (to be honest with you, they're notwhere near they way i'd like them to look).

I'm probably gonna do some more sketches untill i feel more confident with my skills. Once i do that, i will get back to drawing my usual artwork, with backgrounds and stuff. Unfortunately i don't have as much time as i used to, work is now eating a considerable ammount of my free time D:

Doing this legitimately felt like starting drawing all over again.
