PeMeA says… that new update of Heralds of the Avirentes v0.25 is already available?!

This little ma-chine is never wrong! New updated version of Heralds of the Avirentes is available for everyone!

It's time to continue Azaries' journey through Nanraas! And although we originally conceived this update as “medium” in terms of content, its overall volume has exceeded even 0.23! New exciting features, dialogs, characters and enemies are waiting for you!

New features of Heralds of the Avirentes v0.25:

(New content) The first branching substory has been fully integrated into the game! Azaries is given a chance to help young om’verai Carho to solve one of the biggest problems of his life… or just leave it be. In this choice-based well-built substory you can truly challenge your speaking skills and artistic performance. Have you ever tried to play someone’s role without knowing the context? This touching story features great number of plot-changing choices as well as possibility to fully exploit benefits of Azaries’ current class. Thus, you can screw Cahro’s attempts to get a job and finally organize a family reunion by playing a “bad girl” or get the best heartwarming ending that would definitely make everyone happy – everything is up to you!

(New content) The long-awaited continuation of the main story! New enemies, friends and NPCs are waiting for Azaries and her party mates on the new global map subregions – some of them will bring new stunning dialogs and quests, but the other ones are filled with bloodthirsty and ready-to-kill any intruder foes!

(New content) A new story branch with unique events, characters and features has been added for one of the Azaries’ classes. Try to guess, which class is it?

(New content) If your character previously romanced Ahros, you will encounter new exclusive childhood references, events and flashbacks about this love story, which differ from class to class!

(New content) Now Azaries’ personality backed by a newly-designed more flexible traits system, which allows to more comprehensively adjust MC’s worldview and reaction to certain events in accordance to your playstyle and RP model. Don’t worry! You can still use old save files, for the system will allow you to reset and readjust points (once readjusted, Azaries’ traits can’t be reconfigured in the new saves, unless the corresponding feature is implemented in the game mechanics)

New enemies may look odd, weird or even charming, but their bloodlust and combat efficiency might be unmatched, so beware, young om’veri!

Balance changes:

Thank you very much for you feedback on Discord! We’ve been analyzing all your game-based pieces of advice and gameplay experience, therefore we’d like to announce a number of balance-related changes in this update:

Mannicalu: Poison damage has been increased, but the chance of being poisoned has been decreased.

Ralvia: +250 additional HP. The “Psio-Storm” skill damage has been reduced.

Nrikits: Damage from normal attacks has been increased, the enemy's vulnerability to attacks by the forces of nature has been increased.

Golem: Fatigue deals less damage to this monster.

Items: “Heallin” is more expensive now, but it restores more HP. Yet, don’t forget not to use it too often, or else…

Items: Taintenga now works correctly. Having taken this remedy during the battle, Azaries and her companions can no longer be poisoned during the battle, and the already active poison ceases to have its effect.

Effects: The influence of the level is now more tangible. If your characters are far behind in level from the enemy, the battle difficulty will increase correspondingly, thus making some enemies very hard to defeat. However, the reward will be proportionately higher!

Interface: New font is now used in the game. The total level of text perception should be improved greatly.

Note: On PCs with low screen resolutions (1366x768 or less) there is sometimes a slight misalignment of text on screens. We are aware of this issue, and it will be addressed in the next update.

Recommendation: avoid using screens with resolution lower than 720p, for it may cause cosmetic or even game-breaking issues, such as disappearance of buttons, sprites or “out-of-screen” text transposition.

Interface: Damage received or dealt during attacks is now displayed. This will make the combat system more transparent and understandable.

Interface: small interface functional and cosmetic tweaks and fixes.

Interface: Now, when you click on the ability button, a small hint appears on its action and requirements for inspiration.

Interface: Ledshell has been added – an important communication device for Azaries. Currently it includes the functions of receiving mail, reading news, and making calls to some of the predefined contacts.

Changes regarding social component:

(Azaries’ friends) The maximum number of affection points that can be obtained from the quest "An experienced tourist" has been reduced.

Note: As you may have noticed, previously too many affection points were awarded for successfully completing a loyalty mission, which is logically incorrect and inconsistent. Firstly, Azaries and Gherstie are still strangers to each other, and secondly, the pink om'verai has a very complicated temper as well as easy-to-hurt nature (by the way, now you have the opportunity to find out why). Do not worry! The changes did not make Gherstie an impenetrable grumbler. You just need to look for better combinations of answers.

Technical changes and improvements:

(Localization) Russian localization has been greatly improved! If typos, missing commas and incorrect use of some lexical units always make you furious – that’s a notable change that would recreate cozy and pleasant environment of the om’veri world. The game becomes large and complex, and we can no longer afford such annoying missteps. Many changes still need to be made, so we’re working hard to polish our game!

(Visuals) Some backgrounds form previous updates have been improved and/or redrawn.

(Visuals) Missing animations have been added to some skills and abilities from previous updates.
